I don’t have a lot of time this morning, but I wanted to drop off this old cartoon, another spring gardening cartoon, and kick the conversational ball off in other directions. The vaunted Easter cold snap did arrive locally, but it hardly was life-threatening. It actually felt rather pleasant. As I write this, I’ll be in Tupelo, Mississippi, in about four hours, where I’m going to be at Reed’s Gum Tree Bookstore, downtown. If you’re in the neighborhood at noon, come in and say, Hi!
