This Sunday is from August, 2004. Ahem, speaking of Sundays, there will be six Sunday panels offered in the upcoming art sale, a first. Be advised, they’ll look like the above cartoon. Well, not exactly like the above cartoon, but they will be in black and white, not color, and they will not include the upper book-ends tier that appears on the GoComics Web site and in some newspapers. That is added in post-production—and subtracted in many a newspaper composing room. What you see here is the way the original Sunday art appears when I finish it. Oh, and the sale will not begin Wednesday; it’s looking more like a Labor Day/end-of-summer kind of tie-in. Hey, it’s just me working here! I’m not as fast as I used to be.
