Well, we can stop talking about spring being early. It’s here! The conversation on the Web site the past few days is reflected in the current A&J comic strip running in newspapers today. Or vice versa. I’m not sure which.
I apologize for talking business so much, especially when it doesn’t concern the majority of you, but it’s going to be that kind of week. I’ve already mentioned I’ll be in Valley, Alabama, on Thursday and Nashville on Sunday, but after perusing my calendar I see it isn’t too early to mention I’ll be in Mobile, Alabama, on Tuesday, April 3. I’ll be at the West Regional Branch of the Mobile Public Library at 6:30 p.m.
I want to thank all who’ve recommended bookstores and other venues where I might wrangle an invitation, and your recommendations have not gone unnoted. I am, at the moment, concentrating on events in towns where A&J appears in the local paper and where I can drive in a day. I’ll be branching out eventually, though, so don’t feel as if you’ve been wasting pixels if you haven’t heard from me. In fact, suggestions are always welcome.
Back to cartooning: I was looking at today’s A&J, and I thought of a little inside information I might share about the process, but I don’t have time now. I’ll go into it tomorrow, to make up for all the talk of business.
