Happy New Year! Since we’ve been on an astronomical kick lately, I thought I’d post this old New Year’s Eve comic strip from the last day of 2007. I hope you have a prosperous and joyful 2013, and here are the original lyrics to Scottish poet Robert Burn’s poem Auld Lang Syne, written in 1788—apparently after several cups of kindness.
