I find some weird things in my old folders. This morning, I ran across this piece of spot art that I’d worked up from an old comic strip. I can’t remember why I did it; maybe I was thinking of creating a coffee mug or something. Anyway, it does make a pretty good panel cartoon, don’t you think? I remember when I drew the original strip, I said to myself, “Man, that would have to sting!” That’s the great thing about being a cartoonist. If I get an impulse to do something stupid, I can have Arlo do it. Well, back to cleaning out those folders.
