Since the subject of home-entertainment technology has come up already this week, I thought I’d share this from 2005. The premise is valid but not entirely correct, not in the age of digital television anyway. In the event of a problem, you can unplug the modem or unplug the router or unplug the cable box or, if you’re living in the dark ages like some of us, unplug the Roku in an attempt to make things right again.
