Cartoonist’s note: Click on the link above entitled “Tee-Shirt Art,” and you’ll see how the shirts will look.
The classic A&J comic above, from 2012, originally appeared the same week as yesterday’s lawn-mower cartoon. I guess I was on a lawn-care kick. I’m posting this early Wednesday, a quick break from the tee-shirt thing, but I will be back later today to show you the artwork that will appear on the tee-shirts and to discuss them in a bit more detail. Thanks to all for your interest and for those participating in our informal survey. It helped: we’ve been scared into overdrive.

Jean dear, a bit more graphic version. (Don’t tell anyone that’s the way I thaw my turkey. 🙂 )

Did anyone notice what time the Old-Faithful webcam became ice coated? Hopefully they will clean it *before* the visitor center reopens December 15th!
Yes, indeed, Ghost. That turkey’s cooking like a house afire.
Don’t do this with your turkey either; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_Rabq4muu0
Sorry, didn’t realize they had altered the clip with some other mess. Here is what I wanted you to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFgLrWiNHFc
Yesterday I made the unfortunate mistake of letting my blood sugar level drop way too low. I might have mentioned my tendency to become a walking Snickers commercial when I get hungry. This was so much worse. By the time I got home, I was shaking and miserable. Nausea prevented anything beyond a few meager sips of tea. I slowly worked my way up to Gatorade and 3/4 of a Trisciut. Much better today, but I am only telling this story to tattle on Blacklight: I put the remainder of my Trisciut on the stand next to couch (bed last night) to nibble on later. I no more than get re-settled, when I hear a noise behind my head. My thieving, traitorous kitty promptly STOLE my unguarded snack! This from the cat who turned her nose up to human food for thirteen years! Some kitties!
And on that note, every be as healthy as possible from now on. (Looking at you, Jerry!)
Yep, Mark, that’s what happens when you don’t pause and apologize to the turkey’s spirit first.
Lady Mindy, would you call that a “cat canapé”?
Mindy… Have been there too many times. I now keep glucose tablets in my purse.
Debbe 😉 Well, it had to be done, hon. Plus, it’s been 50 years since the events described…

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Good morning Villagers….
And a Blessed Thanksgiving to all Villagers, for whom I am thankful for….among many things, my Family, my Husband, my Job (which I have to work today 🙂 ) a Roof over my head,
Jerry, I pray you get to feeling better and you enjoy your visit with your son…..Amen.
And Indy Mindy…take Gal’s advice, pack some glucose…please.
Ran into the host of today’s festivities at the gas station yesterday morning…my baby sister. I asked her what time and she said 1ish, I grinned and I said, you always run late, I’ll should be there by 2ish. Haven’t heard from Ian, so I don’t know what time he’s coming in.
Everyone, have a full feeling, blessed day.
=^..^=
GR 😉 I beat you to that link yesterday 🙂 , it is at the end of the “Mower shirt discussion”…and yes, I listened to it all, laughing still. Love those 27 black and white glossy photos with a paragraph on the back………..shovels and rakes and other implements of destruction….and I want to kill, kILL, KILL………………who’d have thunk that song would be a tradition for 50 years. The younger generation doesn’t even know it exits…..Ian does 🙂
“Devil in the Blue Dress” was funny though….hahahahaha
Jimmy:
Overdrive, eh?
Welcome to Life in the Fast Lane.
Happy Thanksgiving
