Yesterday, July 29, was the anniversary of the debut of Arlo & Janis in newspapers. I’m not going to say how long ago that was, because it makes the strip and myself sound old, but the Worldwide Web was just a gleam in some programmers’ eyes. I did realize this: I can now say, for the first time, that I’ve been drawing the strip for more than half my life. In honor of this inauspicious event, I will be showing older material here all week long, maybe longer. It looks weird, but some of it actually is pretty funny. I hope you enjoy our Week of Restrospection!
