Jimmy Johnson

Creator of the comic strip 'Arlo & Janis,' Mr. Johnson first encountered an armadillo when he was 7 years old and visiting cousins in Mobile, Alabama. He has never forgotten the experience and considers it a turning point in his life. He is uncommonly well suited to be a professional cartoonist.

Enter Konk. Could I have gotten more unimaginative with the names? It seemed horribly clever at the time. Konk was to be Davey’s mentor and boss, of some sort. I’m not sure what business Konk was in. Not much time today.
