I think sometimes my reputation is exaggerated. I draw a comic strip about marriage and married people. To touch occasionally upon the defining aspect of a conjugal relationship seems only natural to me. Nevertheless, I always have tried to approach this area judiciously, i.e. “sneakily.” I try not to be offensive or to over do it. However, I will say that I’m pretty certain I’m the first cartoonist to depict a husband and wife discussing sexual fantasies in the funny pages.
