Today’s antique cartoon is from this date in 2002, and it is based on a true story. Doing something like this is exactly how I found myself in Paris in September of 1997, my first trip abroad. The Worldwide Web was a relatively new cultural phenomenon at that time, and I wasn’t motivated so much by brazen caprice as ignorance. Half of me didn’t believe the airlines would really sell me a ticket over my computer. Of course, they did, and it was the best stupid thing I’ve ever done. I have been back to the old country several times since but not as many times as I’d like. I am a different and better person for it. Sometimes, it works out.

No internet to play music. I am back exercising flat in bed doing leg and arm routines for rehabilitation. It is easier to music.
Last week I lost 4.7 # and hope to lose at least 2# per week. I am rehabbing the broken left leg. But I am prehabbing the right leg for possible replacement of my right knee.
A friend had a knee replacement 4 years ago, and next month he’ll be getting that knee replaced again. He’s never been happy with it, and after lots of testing they finally decided he is actually in the less than 1% that are allergic to the titanium alloy in it. I hope you’re in the 99% and all goes well with yours!

I am me today
.My left knee has been cancelled twice because of my cancer. I am determined to get it replaced to walk and dance again.
The left knee was repaired with first stage 3 cancer, then left leg with stage 4. Both did amazingly.
