I believe it has been a week since the previous update. We don’t want anyone to sprain anything, so we’ll start slowly with a cat cartoon from a mere five years ago this month. I am a person with many irons in the fire. One iron that always remains is cartooning, of course, but sometimes even it rests on the cool edge of the coals while I juggle other irons. Oops! I think I just mixed my metaphors. Then again, maybe not. Perhaps you can take some solace from the frequent times I tell you, “I’ll try to do better,” knowing that at least I mean it.

Is there a protocol as to whether the featured strip will be colored or not if it is a non-Sunday offering?
Is Gene the Blond a permanent situation? Is there really anything you could do about it, assuming that it grinds your gears?
Enquiring minds and all that…
Juggling hot irons ranks right up there with juggling running chain saws. Either of those could be my job description, come to think of it.
That sigh you just heard was one of relief, from the orphans that were about to be locked out.
A lot of us need to be “ironed” A few too many wrinkles!
long long day of travel to Mexico and then turn around and go home. Yech!
We have one cat who thinks the litter box is for sleeping rather than taking care of business. No wonder one of the other cats enjoys surprising her in the litter box by jumping on her, even if by some miracle she is taking care of business there. How does that one not stay confused, or regular.
I can’t help but wonder why Janis is so upset. After all, the cat’s just trying to fertilize the garden.
My colleague in our team-taught Lib. Ed. frosh biol. course once was illustrating a pt. in recycling of nutrients by plants and showed a slide of a yard with intense splotches of green grass, referring to it as ‘spot fertilization.’ Then, ‘That’s Spot by the front stoop.’ Peace,
This is a real news article. Seems some id10t has decided no wants to drink Budweiser any longer, now the company will rebrand it as “America.”

Dumb, dumb, dumber.
I was going to do another but this is more apropos
16. You’re never too old to learn something stupid.
Regard the beer formerly known as Budweiser…
“Apparently they couldn’t fit ‘Belgian-South African Conglomerate’ on the can.” – David Burge @iowahawkblog
sand: Too bad it’s not permanent. The ‘Budweiser’ name is owned, in Germany and Czech, by a fine Central European outfit in Czech. If you order a Bud in either country, it’s real beer. Here, you can buy it as Czechvar. AB’s temporary change won’t affect my drinking habits any.
Peace,
Wow, just noticed how limber Janis is. No comments Ghost.
emb, I have toured the brewery that is located outside of Prague, full of wonderful old cellars where they store wooden barrels of the wonder brew. They ladle it direct from the barrel into your glass at the end of the tour. Czechvar is an export brew for American distribution. It arrives here filtered, pasteurized, and at a reduced alcohol content. All that said, I do enjoy Czechvar when in the states, but look forward to Euro beers, bar plates and wild boar sausage when traveling.
I’d likely prefer the lower EOH content import. Peace,
Moi?

Debbe, sounds like a fuel filter problem. Also, a can of starting spray has worked a lot of times. Good luck. I’ll be in touch when I have a chance. Debbe, I’ll honk if I see a chicken house, or a chick.
Good morning Villagers….
Rained and storms yesterday….got pretty bad there for a while.
The Boss was there yesterday along with someone from The Corp. We’re getting uniforms!! Navy blue ‘scrubs’ and they are building a changing room in the packing room. We come in our street clothes and change there, new bio-security protocal. The only thing constant in life is change 🙂

I always wondered why my Dad didn’t like most American beers, and then I got the chance to go to Germany. Daddy was right.
The only American beer I have ever preferred is Schlitz. I will drink Dos Equis and Red Stripe. Have any of you ever tried Dragon Stout? As a one drink person, I really prefer
Chivas Regal with a little ice and ice cold water. If I can’t get one of those three, I drink green tea or water.
God bless us every one.

Haven’t seen either m or f house sparrow at the Chesapeake Arms apt. house for two days. Maybe they’ve just been busy, or maybe they’ve finished raising a first brood. Pair may not choose the same site for their next nest, or maybe will even choose new mates.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout
of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way
of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
Wow, incredible weblog layout! How lengthy have you been running
a blog for? you make running a blog look easy. The full look of your website is fantastic, let alone the content material!
We absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content in your case?
I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects
you write with regards to here. Again, awesome web log!
