It’s been a fun week. Thank you. I’m sitting here musing about “social media” and this unprecedented age of interaction and how it relates to me and my work. (OK! I have a self-centered side!) I’m thinking of how different the environment is from when I began, and how it isn’t. But it’s Friday, and I don’t want to get into all that now. Maybe next week. Maybe not. I’ll try to put up a quick post over the weekend, but I intend to relax a bit. I highly recommend it, if you can.

I think Janis knows perfectly well, more than Arlo, what’s going on in his head. The final smile gives it away.
Hey my wife and I resemble those remarks!
The wife always asks: “Do love me because I’m beautiful or am I beautiful becsuse you love me?”
I slwaus answer “Yes “.
Don’t recall Elaine asking that, but ‘yes’. TIP blogspot is better than most.

Peace,
Nowadays Ghost does nothing to impede my dressing. It is hard to get me out of house and to Tulsa on time.
I bet he never thought he’d hear himself say “Baby, put your clothes on! Get out of bed!”
JJ’s Symply peekin’ through our windows again! Glad we can help with the strip; jk, I know life does that!
A note on the car thing from a few days ago…I must be one of the only people in the world who hates buying a new car. Just do not want to deal with all the BS that comes with it….I know what I want exactly, I know what I should be paying, got a deal for $5k less and a good trade in and I just am putting it off and putting it off…..Oh well, some Fargone things need to be dealt with…
Saw a post on the other day on which cars have you owned, bigger list than I thought!
Peugeot
Renault
Dodge
Chevy
Chrysler
Plymouth
Ford
Subaru
Audi
Infiniti
Symply add up over the years!
Thank you to all the veterans for the time you gave to a larger cause.
Loon notes. Stitches are now out. Physical therapy is progressing. She is still adapting to the antibiotic cocktail.
House note. Windows are being replaced as I text.
Car list:
Ford
Chevrolet
Plymouth
Toyota
Acura
Honda
Lamborghini
Where do Lamborghini fall in progression? Is it last or current car? Or first?
Ok, I lost a post somehow, what surgery for Loon? I remember arm I think but is it related to the tuberculosis?
Did they find t.b. during surgical treatment and tests? I bet she is more than antsy being convalescent.
Jackie,
Surgery was tendon release on right ring finger. The tumor, which was diagnosed as tuburculian was encasing aforementioned tendon.
Lamborghini was a gift for services rendered. 😉
@sandcastler™,
Some Fargone service rendered my friend….can you see the green in my post…have Symply dreamed of them since the early 60s. Was on the Champs Elysee once at their showroom and they gave me a tshirt, I was around 8, think I wore it as a midi shirt in the late 70s early 80s before it gave up the ghost(apologies to those capitalized for any confusion).
I am impressed. I am hard to impress.
Renault
Nissan
Ford
Toyota
Mitsubishi
Honda
The Ford was an experience I don’t want to repeat. The Mitsubishi burned up a starter a year, almost always away from home.
Whoops, and a Volvo and Dodge Caravan in between the Toyota and Mitsubishi.
Sand, I have two “trigger fingers”, one on each ring finger.
Acquired during delivery of #2 daughter on left and #1 daughter on right from gripping steel rails during labor.
Have declined tendon surgery for over forty years for good reason.
Encapsulated tuberculosis tumor was what they thought my late husband had, not cancer that was final diagnosis.
Sending Loon much positive strength and true grit. She is a woman and we are strong.
Jackie, Rib Crib is having a Veterans Day special tomorrow.
Rib Crib, Nov. 11, 2017. Free meal from Menu of Honor, which includes choice of two meats and two sides, and your choice of a non-alcoholic beverage.

Here’s a long list of places nationwide offering free or reduced meals on Veteran’s Day for veterans.

Is it me or has the format of this webpage changed? I’m now seeing both today’s and yesterday’s posts from JJ on the same page.

My list
Chevy.
Mercury
Pontiac
Oldsmobile
Toyota
Opal
Datsun
Fiat
Mazda
Ford
Kia
Many of them have duplicates and the Mazda was really a rebadged Ford Ranger. I am on my second F150 in a row. Sort of amazing how many cars you can own in a lifetime. I figure the Truck and van I own now will probably be the last vehicles I will own. My health is bad enough that I don’t expect to last another 10 years and I got that out of my last truck.
Mercury, Ford, Chevrolet, Opal, Cadillac, Dodge, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suburu,
GMAC, Chrysler.
No particular order but multiple ownership of Mercury, Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac.
Nothing exotic in the way of vehicles, but over the years I have owned one or more autos built by each of the Big Four…Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Toyota.
Yesterday, following a medical appointment, we had lunch in Tulsa. As I had several times before, I ordered the same thing…an Ahi Poke Bowl. That dish seems to have some mysterious allure for me. I wish I could figure out what it is.
Something seems to be out of whack with this post.
Give it another whack… Maybe that’ll fix it.
