I’m not sure if this classic A&J from 1997 has run here before or not, but if it has it was a long time ago. (Where do you get the strange notion I should know these things?) I received word yesterday that the test batch of Arlo & Janis tee shirts has been printed. I haven’t seen them yet, but I will tomorrow. We’ll be tweaking the design as needed, and before you can say “I want one,” the final product will be in production. More on this soon.

Not deep orange in color, but otherwise, a fairly good description. 😉

I must learn to link.
Ghost, you need to read the full gardening profile on your pumpkin Ghost Rider as it is done for harvest when vine withers and shell hardens
So. What flavor of milk shake?
Milk shakes chocolate. Hamburger: pickle, oinion, and catchup. Onion rings on the side.
My vine hasn’t withered, so I guess I’m not done yet.
Ghost, another part of the description: You will need to train the plant as it grows because it will literally take over everything if it has the chance.
Accurate?

Sounds like that plant has a mind of its own.
At my favorite shopping center, Dollar General, for more clear storage boxes for my new cleaning lady who Ghost would like for age and looks probably but she has children. I love her, she is compulsively neat and organized. And hangers for me to unpack my suitcases.
Love all the music, I have been enjoying radio on computer, phone, tablet. I can switch all over the place on genre, thanks to you all.
Think I am going to buy myself a chanter and learn to play bagpipes, joined a group online. Any excuse to hang out with men who wear kilts and play Scotland the Brave.

This is a test, just a test. Return to your normal activities when the sirens stop.

Thanks for the warning Jackie, when I hear sirens I start looking for tornadoes. No kidding, when we first moved to New Orleans (actually River Ridge, a suburb on the west side of NOLA), we lived about 1/2 mile from the Mississippi River. I heard sirens in the distance – it was cloudy – I was out looking. I was questioning the neighbors who looked at me as if I was crazy – “what sirens?” said they. Turns out they were signals of some kind on ships on the river. I swear they sounded just like the tornado sirens in good ole’ Ponca City where I grew up. But after we lived there a year, I never noticed them either.
Lots of rain here right now, predicted to last through Sunday and tapering off on Monday. So far today a little over an inch and a half in my back yard, but some models are predicting a foot before it’s all over. I hope it doesn’t come down that hard, because we’ve had no rain this month and the ground is a little hard. Earlier today was a nice soft rain which hopefully has softened the soil so more will sink in. No tropical storm winds, though, just lots of the wet stuff.
